Chione. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide via Al Chione that was taken near Union Station in Chicago, Illinois, c. 1964. The photographer is not identified. Shown here (L to R) are Pennsylvania Railroad engines #5892 and #5766. Both are EP-22's built by GM-EMD and rated at 2,250 horsepower each. #5892 was constructed in April of 1950, while #5766 was built in March of 1952. The road number of the Baldwin-built switcher in the background is not recorded. |
